A Study on Nursing Needs for Nursing Care Plan

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was carried out for the purpose of investigating the nursing needs for nursing care plan, and was conducted with 69 patients and 31 nurses in Chungnam National University Hospital and 34 nurses Taejeon Eulji Hospital from January to June, 1984.
The results are as follows;
1. In rank order of nursing needs, pain, counseling about disease, medication, complication, diet, environment, exercise, rest and sleep, dignity, hygiene by patients, and medication, complication, pain, exercise, counseling about disease, diet, environment, dignity, hygiene, rest and sleep by nurses.
2. In comparison of nursing needs, there was significant difference according to pain, counseling about disease, complication, exercise, rest and sleep between patients and nurses. But there was no significant difference according to medication, diet, environment, dignity, hygiene between patients and nurses.
